Corrections, Expressions of Concern, and Retractions Policy
Al-Furat Journal of Innovations in Agricultural Sciences (FJIAS) is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.
The journal follows COPE guidelines in handling post-publication issues.
Corrections
If errors are identified that do not invalidate the findings of the article (e.g., typographical errors, minor data inaccuracies, author details), a formal correction (Erratum or Corrigendum) will be published and linked to the original article.
Expressions of Concern
If serious concerns arise regarding the integrity of a published article but conclusive evidence is not yet available, the journal may publish an Expression of Concern while an investigation is ongoing.
Retractions
Retractions may be issued in cases involving:
-
Plagiarism
-
Data fabrication or falsification
-
Unethical research practices
-
Serious methodological errors invalidating conclusions
-
Duplicate publication
Retracted articles will remain accessible online but will be clearly marked as “Retracted” to preserve the scholarly record.
All retraction decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the Editorial Board and, where appropriate, the authors’ institution.
