Conflicts of Interest Policy

Conflicts of Interest Policy

Al-Furat Journal of Innovations in Agricultural Sciences (FJIAS) is committed to ensuring transparency and integrity in the publication process. All participants in the publication process—including authors, reviewers, editors, and journal staff—must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

Authors

Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that could influence the research results or interpretation. This includes funding sources, employment, consultancies, stock ownership, honoraria, paid expert testimony, or patent applications.

If no conflicts exist, authors must state:

“The authors declare no conflict of interest.”

Reviewers

Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest that may affect their objectivity. Reviewers should decline to review manuscripts where a conflict exists, including personal relationships, recent collaborations, or competitive interests.

Editors and Editorial Board Members

Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest. In such cases, the manuscript will be reassigned to another editor to ensure impartial decision-making.

Journal Staff

Journal staff involved in editorial processing must avoid any actions that could compromise confidentiality or impartiality.

All conflicts of interest disclosures are evaluated as part of the editorial process to maintain transparency and research integrity.
