Peer Review Process
Quality Assurance and Peer Review
Al-Furat Journal of Innovations in Agricultural Sciences (FJIAS) applies a rigorous quality assurance and double-blind peer-review process to ensure the scientific integrity, originality, and academic quality of all published articles.
All submitted manuscripts undergo the following stages:

Initial Editorial Screening
Submissions are evaluated by the Editorial Office to assess scope relevance, compliance with author guidelines, ethical standards, and plagiarism requirements. -
Double-Blind Peer Review
Manuscripts passing the initial screening are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers under a double-blind peer-review system, where the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed. -
Reviewer Evaluation Criteria
Reviewers assess manuscripts based on originality, methodological rigor, clarity, ethical compliance, and contribution to the field. -
Editorial Decision
Final decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief or Handling Editor based solely on reviewers’ reports and academic merit. -

The final decision on a manuscript is made by the Editor-in-Chief or the assigned Handling Editor, based on the reviewers’ reports and the scientific merit of the submission.

If reviewer reports significantly differ, the editor may seek clarification or invite an additional independent reviewer before reaching a final decision.
All decisions are made independently and are not influenced by publication fees, institutional affiliation, or external pressures.

Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts. Revised versions are evaluated to ensure all reviewer comments have been adequately addressed.
Editorial and Review Timeline
